To make changes by introducing something new. Innovate.

With enthusiasm and a small adventure in hand, myself and my best friend Trish were asked to judge a local art show “Art in the Park” in the south west town of Busselton, Western Australia. I’ve shown photo’s of this beautiful Aussie paradise before in my mosaic photo post here. The photo in the middle is the Busselton jetty.

This annual event was celebrating it’s 51st year, with over three hundred entries.

With a beautiful sunny morning, we started out early and on arrival we were greeted with a wonderful, inspiring and talented display of local and south west region artists, who had used every medium, every imaginable colour on the colour palette and an array of subject matter.

Our choice on behalf of the Hemsley family was the award for the most innovative. Our choice was a painting done by local artist Denny Sanbrook. Her entries in the art show were numerous and very eye catching, using mixed medium with subtle colours showing a visual presentation of local scenes of bushland, water and views of the surrounding area.

It was a pleasure to meet this local artist and the local people who contributed to a wonderful display of “Art in the Park”.

Have a wonderful, creative day my friends.
